Shauna Lee Aranton

Shauna Lee Aranton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Her nursing journey began in the pediatric intensive care unit, where she continues to practice emergency and trauma medicine.
Shauna completed her Family Nurse Practitioner preceptorship with a focus on providing comprehensive, inclusive care to LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive patients. Her clinical interests span the lifespan, reflected in her diverse research contributions, which include hyper-oxygenation in post-cardiac patients (older adults), obesity and hypo-testicular function in middle-aged and LGBTQ+ populations, and asthma exacerbation and continuity of care in pediatric patients.
Committed to patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic care, Shauna values building strong partnerships with her patients. Beyond clinical practice, she contributes to the advancement of healthcare as a nursing educator and as a current PhD student actively involved in research and academic scholarship.
